Why did he disband Sugar anyways? I was working in a record store when "Copper Blue" came out and I played the hell out of it. It was a refreshing, well-polished alternative to the grunge clones and crappy dance music I had to listen to otherwise.
He is an underrated song writer as far as I am concerned. Didn't get into his solo stuff too often, though it was fun to hear this one again. Thanks!
caught him playing solo in support to the flaming lips, though i was into it [had this album and workbook in my collection] i have to say it got monotonous after a while and like the commentator above i would have welcomed sugar!
